Coach Sullivan has spent many summers working for Attack Athletics with the renowned Tim Grover . Coach Sullivan experience ranges from NBA players, foreign pros, college players and local players.
Coach Sullivan, has coached and taught in the high school level for years and started one of top AAU programs in the country, Upstate Elite. As a coach he has won major National AAU tournaments such as the Rumble in the Bronx, Rhode Island Jam Fest, and even defeated the number one ranked team in the country in AAU Nationals. Coach Sullivan, has worked the country's top camps including both Five-Star and Hoop Group Elite camps. Coach Sullivan also played four years of college basketball, played at the point and was a team captain.
Coach Sullivan is currently the boys varsity assistant coach at Wilson High School
Brendan is currently the Wilson boys varsity basketball coach. He has reached the Section V Championship game twice.
Coach Brendan O’Toole, has coached and taught at various levels scholastically for the past 20+ years. Brendan has been involved with Coach Sullivan Basketball Training and Upstate Elite since Coach Sullivan started the program. This has given Brendan the opportunity to work with some of the top players in the region. Brendan has work very closely with Coach Sullivan in developing training methods and concepts that are used with the Professional athletes, Division One players, and the top high school players.
Brendan has spent his summers working at a variety of basketball camps at colleges including Syracuse, Duke, Wake Forest, Providence, and Seton Hall. He has been involved with the Syracuse camp for over 20+ years. In addition to his coaching experience, Coach O’Toole played two seasons of college basketball.
Coach Brendan O'Toole vast experience and knowledge of the game allows him the ability to work not only with the younger players but also with the top high school and college players. He is one of the top player development coaches in the entire upstate region.
Coach Chad Thomas, played on a Division One Scholarship at the University of Rhode Island. He was a teammate with NBA player Lamar Odom. He was named Team Defensive Player of the year in both 1996 and 1997, Chad also played in the NCAA Tournament in 1997. Prior to Rhode Island Chad spent two years at JCA Juco College and is still their all time leading scorer, a member of their Hall of Fame, and was listed in the who's who among junior college athletics on the Deans List.
A East High graduate and All Greater Rochester player in both 1992 and 1993, his playing experience and awards in both high school and college sets him apart from many. Chad has coached for years, and has coached both the boys and girls varsity teams at Wilson high school.
His son Mandel Thomas who played at Rush Henrietta eceived a full ride scholarship to Fordam University. He currently plays internationally. Coach Sullivan was Mandel's Basketball trainer and Coach with Upstate Elite Basketball program.
Coach Tommy Cox, is an all around athlete who excelled in both basketball and soccer. He graduated from St. John Fisher with a Business Management degree and was hired full time right out of college.
He was both a varsity basketball and soccer player for Webster Thomas. A player that knows what it takes to succeed, Tommy played on a Division 1 Soccer Scholarship. He was a two time All County Selection, Team Captain, and part of the Olympic Development Program.
He has been part of the Coach Sullivan basketball staff for 8+ years. He has worked out top Division one college basketball players, high school players, and our youth players. He is an exceptional player development coach.
